Hi Dee....Congrats on your 3 days quit. Are you using any NRT's? I find that when I am having a bad crave it helps me to take a lot of deep breaths. I also try my best to concentrate on something pleasant. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!! Day 3 was my hardest day, all I did was cry, but day 4 I actually saw a ray of sunshine. Hang in there is does get better. Use all the coping skills you can find, it is worth it!!! Please, please know that you will not feel like this forever. In fact, each day you get through is one day closer to NEVER feeling this way again. It isn't an overnight process. This is an addiction after all that you are withdrawing from. Each crave, each symptom is a sign that your body is purging all of the thousands of chemicals that you ingested into your body. So try to look at these uncomfortable feelings as actual healing feelings, because that's what they are. And remember. Nobody is MAKING you quit smoking. You are choosing to quit. You can smoke anytime you want to. But you are choosing not to.
