Way to Go Tsikos! i'm really proud of you! i know how the greek country is and how greek women are when going to the country house...you want to turn everything upside down!!! LOL i'm glad you're smoke free!!! and yes the metabolism suddenly stops moving! I'm working out regularly..and the trainer at the gym doesn't believe that i'm not eating more than usual because with all this work out i should have lost a couple of more kgs. It's been more than 1 month that i'm stuck. Try to control yourself with food...it's so easy to gain weight..and i'd dare to say, impossible to lose any!!! arggh... stay near!!! kate My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/23/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 41 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 413 Amount Saved: 123 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 22 Mins: 34 Seconds: 47

TSIKOS - This is FABULOUS! Way to go, eating a little more than normal is NORMAL. One thing at a time, you are getting lots of exercise, that's awesome. You are doing a heck of a job! Congrats! Okay here is the deal about smoking...when you quit within the first week your metabolism will drop 10%. Also you have to remember that cigarettes are an appetite suppressant and also a diuretic. It is funny all the effects that nasty habit had on our body...man it feels good to be free from of it!!!
