20 years ago 0 682 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Monsters under the bed eh? Well, my monster came out from under my bed jumped right into my throat! I had started to cough about an hour after I would go to sleep about 6 months ago. My husband noticed (I did too but didn't say anything outloud)that has stopped. Completely stopped and it has not even been 2 weeks quite yet!!!! No more monsters in my bed!!!! Thanks for letting me say this outloud! Okay, the one about running out of jokes was especially horrifying. Wow! Understandably, I'm a bit shook up now. You were just kidding, right? That can't happen, right?!? Right?!!! Oh, I'm hyperventilating, now. Gotta go lay down... Don't smoke. It's bad for you, okay. Mc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 161 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,423 Amount Saved: $644 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 17 Mins: 17 Seconds: 55

Great post Brent. Very thought provoking. And, there's that usual hint of laughter thrown in here and there that I've come to love and admire in your posts! Great post. Thanks. Crave the Quit! Hi Brent, good post, thanks. When I went to bed I would run from the doorway of the bedroom and dive onto the bed so the "monsters" under the bed couldnt get me :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 293 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,867 Amount Saved: $2197.5 Life Gained: Days: 38 Hrs: 8 Mins: 40 Seconds: 57

Brent -- Loved your post, and love your language! I'm in Tennessee, and "daft" and "bloody" are a fun change from "ain't" and "y'all". ;p

LMAO Brent, I just finished reading Mercer Mayers There's a Nightmare in My Closet to 2 classes of kindergarten students, log on and find you talking about the monster under the bed! Great post! My monster was the huffing and puffing after minimal exertion. Its so nice to breathe with lungs that arent being suffocated every 30 minutes. Not cravin', never cavin'.
