Hi Everyone, Have a question about Lexapro. I went to see my new doctor, did a bunch of bloodwork and tests, and of course it came back fine. Which I'm happy about, but now I know for sure my depression and anxiety is in "my head". Well the doctor gave me a sample of Lexapro. And as some of you may relate to, I AM TERRIFIED to take it. I have never taken any antidepressants before and I have no clue what to expect. I've had the pills for a couple of days now and still haven't worked up enough nerve to take one. I hate the depression and anxiety, which is on full force most of the time, but I am scared to death that the pills will make it worse. And that is something I don't know if I can live with. So please, any comments, suggestions, advice or warnings would be appreciated. Is it really safe? Will it or could it help? Am I being stupid for not trying it? And if I do, what can I expect - side effects? Thanks, and I wish that everyone finds inner peace, even if it's for just a moment. Lorie
