I was just wondering how you are doing with the lexapro and if you have noticed anything yet? I am trying to build the courage to start taking it. My mom, who also suffers from anxiety, began taking it and we have all noticed a difference in her for the better so I was wondering how it was working for you.

As for the medication I haven't taken it but i have heard some great stuff about it too. And yeah waiting on the drinking is always a good idea in my opinion after starting new meds, just so your body adjusts first.
Anyway, welcome again and keep us posted!

I am new here. I have never been on Lexapro, but know a couple of people who were or are still and they did great. No side effects for them. Good luck! I would wait on the drinks too, by the way.
has anyone here on or ever taken lexapro for depresion and axiety? just curious I just started taking it. I was going to have a few drinks with supper because my dr and pharmicist said it would be ok. but I think im going to give it a month or so before i do.
