Update on moi

I too have noticed that some of my (I like this word) associations have seem to have gone away. However, some are still there like driving down the highway and wanting to light one up. Getting busy doing something around the house and without realizing it reaching for a cigarette only to find out that I quit. I am glad for this site, becuase it helps me deal with the cravings. I read on one posting that a person had only one cigarette and was hooked again. I know based on that statement that there is no such thing as just one. Hey Everyone, Had a bittersweet weekend. The first part of it was really sad and than it got better. So I am glad. I am surpised that most of my associations have been broken already like after meal, I dont think at all about smoking or that I used to smoke afterwards anymore. Neither do I after a movie, I can enjoy each one as it is, nothing has to been done to make either better. Stress is one i will have to work on I guess, but so far so good. Hi Ang, I'm glad you're feeling better. I remember how great it was when I started forgetting that I used to be a smoker. I am even getting used to my boyfriend smoking around me now, cigarettes control you less and less the longer you go without them. Celia

Ang, Great work and progress! Try using exercise and relaxation techniques such as stretching and yoga to relieve the stress you feel. You can check with your doctor to come up with a program that is right for you. Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
