We always worry about being over-weight. Dont lose weight. Lose fat. Weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing. We must learn to distinguish between the two. You see, the scale can be very misleading if it is the only criteria you use for measurement. For example, a woman could weight 105 pounds and have 33% body fat. Thats what IS called a skinny fat person. In contrast a female bodybuilder could weigh 160 pounds and be quite lean, with a body fat of 14%. With this in mind, your goal should never be weight loss. Your goal should be losing fat while maintaining muscle. Your ratio of muscle to fat is what really counts. I agree! My daughter probably weighs 10 pounds more than many of the girls her age, but she looks great, and is all muscle. Now, if I could just get there. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/5/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 280 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,200 Amount Saved: $1820 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 7 Mins: 34 Seconds: 50
