HI rosy I think that it did take a couple of days to work but i was on paxil cr first for about 2 weeks so I already had some meds in my system so my doctor said that the zoloft would work much faster. I felt spacy and loss of appetite but it did get better anything was better then the paxil that was the worst it made me so sick and made my attacks much worse. I had all the same effects that you mentioned and they went away in less then a week. Good luck with the med I hope it works for you as much as it has for me I'm finally back to myself again well take care and keep in touch shanna

Thanks Shanna, When you started taking Zoloft did it take you a while to adjust to the meds. It's only been 2 days but I feel a little spacy and loss of appetite and slightly louse stools, but the pharmacists warned me and said this is a side effect that may pass. Did you notice any of these side effects at first?

Hi rosy Welcome to the group. I take 50mg of zoloft to and I to like to drink when I go out to. I have mixed the two alot and haven't really had any bad affects from it, and I have been on it since january. The only thing I think that happens is that it makes me a little more tired but other than that no other affects. I hope this helps you good luck with everything and the meds they work great atleast for me they did cause I was on paxil cr at first and it did nothing in fact it made my attacks worse. But nice meeting you and take care shanna

I have just started taking Zoloft and was wondering what the effect is with alcohol. I enjoy social drinking and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences mixing the two.
