I went to my dr for generalized anxiety. He put me on 10mg Lexapro and also gave me a flu shot that same day. I woke up with a panic attack and have had many since then. I tried 5mg Lexapro with the same results. I have a history of panic attacks but not for many years. This past weekend I had severe panic attacks for 6 hours. The doctors all say its just a coincidence with the flu shot. They want to try me on a low dose of Effexor but I scared to death. Anyone with any of these experiences?
