Oh man, do I hear you about not wanting to go back!! Something happened to me on Sunday which was really really weird...I got up, did my normal chores, washing clothes, then putting away clothes, then working on my paper for school, getting breakfast, and it came around 2 PM.... I had not THOUGHT about ONE CIGARRETTE. Not one!! I smiled, because I realize (now!) how silly and stupid this habit was. It is said to take 3 days. The addiction is there forever. You will learn new things to take the place of the addiction. Keep busy and think positive and not dwell on the craves you have. It is the old nicodemon trying to get you back. He will try anything and everything to get you back. Congradulations on your 22 days, You are kicking ash. Paul, I've read that it takes about 72 hours or 3 days. I'm sure that there is probably some variance in each person. Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking!
