Brand vs. Generic

Spoke with my doctor and he said that there is no difference between generic and brand. But he did suggest a higher dosage of needed to stem the tide while I get used to being off of the antipshycotic I was on for ten years. Takes a little getting used to being off of triavil even though it was a small dosage. Only 4/25 once a day. David

David, Now is a good time to check with your pharmacist to see what different side effects can be received. Please check with your doctor as well for dosage use. Josie

I now take Diazepam, which is the generic of Valium. Does anyone who has history with these drugs have any preference? I have not taken the real valium in quite some time, but I am thinking maybe I will get the real stuff next time. I know generics can be less effective and I am wondering if that's what's going on here. Any advice would be fantastic. David
