I'm no doctor but I have been taking Celexa for over a year with no side effects. It worked very well for me at first but now I think I need to up my dose.
Remember, everyone is different whe it comes to meds and I'm like you, I'm afraid of taking anything new!

Just a littel side note. Please check with your doctor regading dosages. Please also try talking to your pharmacist. This is a knowledgeable resource that will help you recognize any side effects.
