It's a nice way to ensure each others' comfort and an ongoing expression of affection.

Hi Hugs,

What makes night rituals important to you?

I wonder if anyone has night rituals which are shared before going to bed, with their family or spouse?

I remember watching a television show where everyone says "good night" in a very large family in a rural setting, and there was something humorous but touching about it.  That was called "The Waltons" show with a long night "rollcall".

Today I asked if mom's sheets were fitted properly, because there's something too puzzling to describe going on with her sheets slipping away.

Parents might use a lullaby.  My mom used to pray with me before I went to sleep.
